DeadLine Paranormal was informed by a third party about possible paranormal activity at the V.F.W. Post 283 building in Kingston, Pennsylvania. After receiving this lead Tony talked to the caretaker who confirmed paranormal or unexplained happenings within the building. The caretaker stated that he along with several workers have heard talking or unexplained voices while opening the building. Some of the workers have also stated that they have seen a shadow figure or shadow figures through out the establishment. One worker went on to say that these unknown figures are friendly and possibly even a bunch of jokers. Another witness also employed at the above mentioned business backed up the story but went on to say that the one in the basement scares her. Along with what was stated above the caretaker who has seen chairs move and has heard the sound of pool balls crashing and dropping into the pockets of the pool table while closed and cleaning up for the evening. DeadLine Paranormal is honored to be invited to investigate V.F.W. Post 283. Maybe we will find some veterans still hanging out at their favorite post and unwinding?

Our investigation started at 19:00 hrs. on the March 25 2012. Lunar phase on 25 March 2012 Sunday is Waxing Crescent.The current moon phase is from 2012-03-22 15:39 to 2012-03-30 20:42.The moon is in zodiac sign Taurus The moon is in zodiac sign Taurus.

 

DeadLine Paranormal members Jim and Tony were met by Caretaker Brett,Tommy and Darla who operate V.F.W Post 283. We identified ourselves and informed them of the steps we were going to take through the course of the evening. We then explained our equipment to them as we were setting up.

Our investigation started in the banquet area where Jim has said to have captured a chair moving on its own with his cell phone. Witnesses have claimed to have seen in this area shadow figures. We began a sweep of the area with our MEL Meter and K II Meter for evidence of electromagnetic spikes that might be present. We did locate a few spots and documented this so that it would not be mistaken for anything but normal environmental interference. We then started documentation with still photography for about 40 minutes. We then proceeded to set up our audio and video surveillance using our Sony handy cam, 4 stationary night vision cams and our digital recorders in hopes of capturing any shadow figures or EVP recordings( Electronic Voice Phenomenon ).

 

About an hour later we decided it was time to try our Ovilus X Box with a DTD Box, also known as a Digital Text Display. This box allows us to read the words being said through the Ovilus X. After 20 minutes into this session without any response, Tony and Jim decided it was time to move on to there next location the immediate area of the bathroom on the first floor. Nothing unexplainable was captured here. We then returned to the banquet area to find that the Ovilus X Box was responding to questions from Tommy. We encouraged Tommy to continue in attempts to collect an intelligent response to his questions. Tommy would also receive a response when he would ask a question or when he would move a plastic cup that was on he table next to him. Some of the words the Ovilus X Box was saying were..Viking, Disaster, Country, Wave, Award and Carol. Ten minutes went without any more responses. Tommy then said if your not going talk to me i'm going to take your drink. At this precise time the Ovilus X Box said "Thank You."

 

After documenting the Ovilus X Box session, we moved on to the basement area to see what may be lingering there. Upon entering the basement we swept the area and gathered high E.M.F. readings throughout. Jim and Tony easily found the source of these fields and documented them as live electrical wires and other electrical equipment. We were focusing on trying to find a shadow figure or spirit that has been seen in this area when we noticed a hole in the cinder block wall in a lower pit area of the basement. Through this hole you could see clear to the other side of the basement. While looking through the view finder on the handy cam, something appeared to walk through the light that was omitting from the other side of the far back room. After focusing for several minutes in this area, we asked for any spirits to walk in front of us again. To our surprise it did just that. Nothing further was captured in the basement area.

 

As we returned to the banquet area to check on everyone. Jim had a ball in his hand that he would place on the table to see if the spirit be be able to manipulate the object. Tommy then showed us a location where old slot machines were found hidden in a wall during a renovation of a upstairs closet. Tommy believes this may be the cause of the activity in the building. After spend about an hour upstairs, we decided it was time to take a break in order to regroup and change direction of our investigation. 

 

After our break we proceeded upstairs to the conference room where we continued to try and communicate with the spirits of the establishment. During this time we had placed an EVP recorder in a bathroom across the hall from us. After reviewing our recordings we captured someone whispering what sounds like Get Out. After an hour in the conference room with no activity present, Tony asked if someone would someone let me know that they are here with us by moving something in the room. At this exact time the curtains started to move. We then proceeded to check for drafts or an open window,but neither was found. We then took photographs of the curtain area and captured what appears to be some sort of white mist or blemish in the picture. We continued to try and communicate with the spirits  using our R.E.M. Pod, Digital Recorder and the Ovilus X Box. After several minutes of asking questions we began to hear footsteps in the hallway. Tony and Jim then left the room to see what was making the sounds in the hallway but there was no one there. We then asked if the spirit that was walking in the hallway could walk past the door again. We did not hear the footsteps again but Tony did see the curtains in the conference room move as if someone was hiding behind them. We both approached the curtains to check for drafts or try to explain this occurrence. The window was free of drafts and there was no other drafts from the hallway or other rooms that could of created a draft or vacuum affect. After approximately 35 minutes we were ready to wrap up our investigation. Jim said he wanted to place the Ovilus X Box in phonetic mode and ask the spirits if they would like us to leave. We then told the spirits we are leaving the Ovilus said "bye." We were shocked to receive a response after several minutes of dead time. Jim said ok were going to leave. Jim then asked should we shut the door? The Ovilus responded "Stay." Before we could ask another question the Ovilus Said "No." We believe this was answering Jim's second part of his question about closing the door. We laughed and asked if the spirit would like to come down to the banquet room with us. The Ovilus replied "Okay."  At this time we were still quite shocked that we were getting such intelligent responses. Jim told Tony to ask some questions to see if the spirit would respond to his questions. Tony did so and he asked if the spirit wanted to play cards with him before he left. The Ovilus responded "You" "Smoke." Tony laughed and said do you want to go outside for a smoke? Are you going outside? The Ovilus then responded "Yes." At this time we entered the Banquet Room and told the spirit to do us a favor before he went outside for a smoke. We want you to move the golf ball on the table. Could you make it roll off for us. We encouraged the spirit for a few minutes and we received our wish. If you look in the video and watch the ball you will see something appear where the ball was resting and after the ball rolls off the table it disappears. The golf ball that was sitting on the table most of the night rolled off the table. We were shocked at the ease in which the spirit was able to accomplish this physical task. We then wrapped up the investigation do to time restraints.
