DeadLine Paranormal is proud to be the first paranormal group to investigate the Hollenback Cemetery. Charles J. Adams a famous paranormal author has written in one of his books about some of the ghostly happenings in the cemetery. We have also heard many stories from witnesses about the Hollenback Cemetery and the unexplained activity within the old iron gated cemetery. The care taker has informed us of many possible paranormal hotspots while we received a tour of the cemetery. While walking around the neatly kept cemetery we did not realize how big Hollenback really was. After the caretaker finished his tour, he proceeded to lock the gates. Our investigation began in what some people say, is the most haunted cemetery around.

WILKES-BARRE - As the sun set at Hollenback Cemetery on Sunday, a team of paranormal investigators set up their ghost-hunting gear. They were looking for spirits, anything out of the ordinary, something no one could explain. They say they've done so before and there's a unique thrill in the search for the next cryptic sighting.

Jim Fazzi and Tony Piontkowski are prison guards by day & moonlight as paranormal investigators for their group, Deadline Paranormal."There's a lot of skeptics. We're not trying to make skeptics into believers," Fazzi said Sunday as he hooked infrared cameras up to a digital recording box. "This is just a hobby for us."Fazzi and Piontkowski started the group last August after a conversation at work in which they discovered both had an interest in the subject - and a past experience in seeing a spirit. The duo operate a website where they post photos and videos of their work - the most chilling, they say, is a full-body apparition of a woman in the Hollenback Cemetery in a previous investigation there.

To skeptics, Piontkowski asks, "If we can't explain it, you tell us."

Fazzi sums up their work as "looking for unexplained or paranormal happenings."

When looking for visuals of spirits, they take video and photos for hours in areas where their equipment detects a lot of electromagnetic energy. In other operations, they try to communicate with spirits during investigations into possible paranormal sounds, movements, and sightings."We're out to prove there is such a thing," Fazzi said. With that comes the expected rousing by fellow prison guards at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, who often hum the "Ghostbusters" theme song when Fazzi and Piontkowski are around. "The same guys who bust us are the ones who come around and say, 'Hey, I heard this,'" Fazzi said. The hobby is certainly a tough sell, even to family, Piontkowski said. "My wife says I'm either going through a mid-life crisis - or I'm out of my mind," Piontkowski joked. "People are going to laugh at us. But there are skeptics who are going to think twice. It's interesting to me. It's something we enjoy doing. We want to find out what else is out there."
