Hoyt Library Investigation Part #2

On 06/29/104 at approximately 1900 hours, members Jim, Tony, Frank, Chris and Mike conducted a second investigation of The Hoyt Library located at 284 Wyoming Avenue in Kingston.

Lunar phase on 29 June 2014 Sunday is Waxing Crescent.   The current moon phase is from 2014-06-27 09:10 to 2014-07-05 13:00.  The moon is in zodiac sign Leo .

 

We met with Melissa, who is an employee of The Hoyt Library.  After quick history lesson, our investigation started with documentation of the library with still photography.  We also set up our audio and video surveillance using stationary night vision cameras throughout the library.  A sweep of the building was also done with our MEL Meter and K II Meters for any evidence of electromagnetic spikes that might be present.  Stationary IR cameras were placed in the first and second floors of the new part of the library, as well as in the basement, first and second floors of the original part of the building.  LED motion lights were also placed near the cameras.  Wireless IR cameras were also placed throughout the building. Right outside of the room that was being used for the command post, spikes on the KII and Mel Meters were happening throughout the night.

 

While setting up the camera on the second floor on the northeast corner of the building, a Nancy Reagan book was standing on a table next to a chair.  The book then fell over, no one was in this immediate area at this time.  The book was replaced, and fell over an additional three times.  Also placed in this area were led motion lights, a Temperscope, and a Geopod was placed in this area.  Chris also set up the Kinect camera in this area.  After set up, we left the area, and then all of the motion lights activated in this area.

When Mike, and Chris were climbing the steps to adjust a camera, 

A digital camera and laser grid was set up in the first floor conference room where a figure has said to be seen.  The lights were turned off in this room.  During the course of the night, the camera stopped working, and so did the laser grid.  The lighting system in this room has a motion detector.  Once we noticed that the camera stopped working, we checked the room, and the lights were on inside of the room.  None of the members entered this room, so there is no explanation as to why the lights turned on.

During the course of the investigation, Frank reported that a monitor for one of the camera systems stopped working.  Also, the IR camera stopped working in the area where the book kept falling off of the table on the second floor after two hours.  The IR camera had to be replaced, and it was then working properly.

We conducted a session in the basement with Tony, Jim, Mike, Chris. We used the spirit box, hand held video cameras, digital recorder, and KII meters.  During the session, Mike got spikes on the KII meters into the red.  He was also getting responses on the spirit box.  At one point, Mike asked if someone could light up the KII meter again, and there was a response of “No."

Jim, Chris and Mike were in the second floor of the original section.  While walking through the area, Jim got close to the front office of the building, and when he passed the door, you can see on camera, a shadow near the door, and the door then closes.  Jim was not near the door, and did not touch the door when it closed. Tony and Chris then went into a room in the basement to conduct a session.  This room was very cold compared to the hallway.  They were getting responses on the KII meters, and Chris filmed the session with a hand held video camera.

The investigation was concluded at 0130 hours.
