DeadLine Paranormal

In July 2013 members of DeadLine Paranormal went to the Luzerne County Recorder of Deeds to conduct research on 46 South Welles St, Wilkes-Barre PA. It was discovered then that the house had many owners since being constructed in the late 1800's.

On 08/04/13 at 1800 hours, all members of Deadline Paranormal, Jim, Tony, Ron, Frank, Chris, Mike, Rob, and Adam, met to begin our investigation of 46 South Welles Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

 

While the command post was being set up on the rear porch, Jim and Tony met with a reporter from a local newspaper. Members of DeadLine Paranormal were interviewed about the house and the intended targets of our investigation. Jim explained the outline of the investigation and continued by explaining the reported activity that has occurred throughout the years. Photos were also taken of the members for the newspaper article.

 

Our investigation started by setting up our audio and video surveillance using stationary night vision cameras throughout the home. A Raggedy Ann doll was placed in the basement as a possible trigger object due to reports of the spirits of children inhabiting the home. Electro Magnetic Pumps were placed on the stairs due to a high amount of activity according to past occurrences. Six digital recorders were placed in strategic locations. 

 

Before any members began investigating, an unexplained energy manifestation was captured on video in the basement. A sweep of the home was also done with our K II Meter and Mel Meter for any evidence of electromagnetic spikes that might be present. No electromagnetic spikes were found inside of the building. We then started documentation with still photography of the basement, and first and second floors using both digital, and full spectrum cameras. A FLIR camera was also used inside of the residence to take photographs.

 

We tried something new on this investigation, which was real time updates on Facebook. Frank posted pictures and video of our investigation on Facebook as we got them. Our fans seemed to enjoy this new feature, and more than likely, we will be doing it again on future investigations.

 

While Chris and Mike were in the basement, Chris was taking still photos with the full spectrum camera, and he captured an energy manifestation along the basement wall. Mike and Chris also conducted a session using a digital recorder, and a K II meter. In one of the videos, you can see Mike react to a meter spike when something is seen flying past the meter in his hand.

 

Chris and Mike then took photos of the first floor, and then moved to the second floor. When on the second floor in the doorway of the bedroom at the top of the steps, something brushed against Mike’s right knee. There were two cats in the house at the time of the investigation, but according to the command post, they could account for their whereabouts, and they were nowhere near Mike. It is unknown what brushed against his leg.

 

Jim and Tony conducted a session in the basement using a digital recorder. Jim, Tony, Mike, Adam, Rob, and Frank conducted a session in the dining room using Mel Meter, and digital recorder. There were some noticeable fluctuations on the Mel Meter. A Ouija board was then brought out with a glow in the dark planchette. Mike and Frank both placed their hands on the planchette, but it did not move. Members then decided to move to the living room, and the planchette was then placed and left in a specific location, to see if it was moved during the investigation.The command post also advised that whenever members were in the dining room, there seemed to be increased activity of unexplained energy manifestations in the basement. It was also noticed, that whenever all of the members left the dining room, the activity would stop.

 

Jim, Tony, Mike, Adam, and Rob conducted a session in the living room. A game was played using a REM pod, where all members would say their name, and then touch the REM pod causing it to light up. During the game, after all members present touched the REM pod, Jim said “now it’s your turn”, and it then lit up on its own. A spirit box was also used during the session, and members received responses on the spirit box. Steve was one the responses on the spirit box. Information obtained during the pre-investigations aided in this process for determining questions to ask. During the session, from the responses that we received, it is believed that Steve committed suicide in the residence, due to a problem with a woman. Digital recorders, and K II meters were also in use. The K II meter was also showing activity. Tony then stated that he observed a shadow figure in the kitchen doorway. Mike then stated that the observed the same thing since they were both sitting on the couch. A short time later, Mike then asked if there was something green flashing on the dining room table. Other members said the only thing was the Ouija board planchette which is glow in the dark. Mike then stated that he observed some type of shadow near it, and when checked, the planchette was moved from where it was placed before going into the living room.

 

Chris and Adam conducted a session in the dining room. Chris and Adam used the Ouija board, and during their session, they stated that the planchette moved.

 

Our investigation concluded at 0330 hours.
