On 08/01/11 DeadLine Paranormal started this investigation of the local legend "The Bagunk" is located in Luzerne County Pennsylvania in the town of Glen Lyon at the St. Michael's and St. Andrews cemetery. Our team began the investigation early in the evening interviewing a few residents who are familiar with the legend. Our first resident of the old coal mining town of Glen Lyon showed us a location within the cemetery were people have claimed to see unexplained ghostly figures. After talking with our local resident he showed us the grave site of The Bagunk and asked us to keep his name a secret. He stated that "we don't need people coming up here with ouija boards trying to contact the Bagunk." We then parted and we began our investigation. Our first part of our investigation we documented the location by taking pictures of the surroundings while the video camera rolled. 

 

As night fell, we started an EVP session with our digital recorders in hopes of catching some evidence of paranormal activity. We did not capture anything on our digital recorder do to outside contamination of the crickets and passing cars, but we continued to film and take pictures. We left Glen Lyon that night without seeing or feeling anything abnormal.

On 07/07/2013 at 1915 hours, members of Deadline Paranormal, Jim, Tony, Frank, Chris, Mike, and Adam, all met to begin our investigation of the local legend "The Bagunk", which  is located in Luzerne County Pennsylvania in the town of Glen Lyon at the St. Michael's and St. Andrews cemeteries.  Each cemetery is located across the street from one another.

 

Our investigation started by setting up our audio and video surveillance using stationary night vision cameras in the rear of the St. Andrew’s Cemetery.  Members started to take still photos of the cemeteries, using digital cameras, and a FujiFlim Fine Pix S model Full Spectrum camera. A sweep of the area was also done with our K II Meter for any evidence of electromagnetic spikes that might be present. No electromagnetic spikes were found.  A FLIR camera , and MEL meter, was also used in both cemeteries.

 

While taking initial photos of the St. Andrew’s cemetery, Mike captured what appeared to be an white blemish that showed up in the picture near a tombstone in the rear corner of the cemetery. Later, Adam, and Tony were taking pictures of the same area, and the K II meter lit up while Adam was holding it.  Adam also stated that his arm felt like it was tingling.  

 

Chris and Mike went across the street to the St. Michael’s cemetery.  While standing in the roadway near the right rear corner, they were taking photos with a digital camera, and with a full spectrum camera.   Mike and Chris went walking to the far side of the cemetery. While walking Mike heard what sounded like a moan. Mike asked me if he heard it but he did not hear anything.  Chris was only about 15 to 20 feet away from Mike. Chris took Mike’s picture at that time when he asked about hearing the moan. Chris told Mike not to move and took two more pictures. After our investigation was complete, Chris reviewed the pictures. Out of the three pictures that Chris took of Mike, the second picture shows what appears to be a  unknown mist behind Mike coming towards him.  It should be noted that there was a slight breeze and it is going from the left side of the picture to the right side. You can tell by the direction of the flags blowing. Well the mist in the picture is going against the wind, going from the right to the left. 

 

Jim, Tony, Frank, and Adam conducted a session using a REM pod, digital recorder, Sony Handy cam camera, K II meter, and an Electromagnetic pump.  

 

Preston went through both of the cemteries with the FLIR camera, digital recorder, Ovilus, and digital camera. Preston captured activity on the Ovilus in the center of the roadway between both cemeteries.
