Hallucinatory Sleep Paralysis (HSP): When you are asleep and you wake up but your body is paralyzed. During HSP you can’t speak, you may hear voices or whispering, you may feel like someone or something is behind you, or you may also see monsters, ghosts or demonic images. Sleep Paralysis and HSP is a condition when you feel conscious but your body can’t move. This natural paralysis happens in the R.E.M. sleep cycle.

Haunting: Any repeated happening or appearance of phenomena commonly associated with ghosts, spirits, or poltergeists.

Heaven: A place in various religions where God and the angels exist. Heaven is where good souls, or spirits go after death.

Heresy: Any provocative belief or idea that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs

Hex: To affect someone via witchcraft by casting or projecting evil spells or emotions on someone.

Hot Spot: A site where the paranormal activity is prominent.

Hydromancy: Divination or communication with spirits by means of signs derived from the appearance of water and its movements.

Hypnosis: An induced condition, trace or sleep state where the subject has a heightened focus and concentration. Subjects can block out sources of distraction while in this state of mind and can respond to the questions with intense concentration on the specific thought or memory asked for by the hypnotist during Hypnotherapy .

Hell: A realm where the devil is the ruler it is regarded in various religions as a spiritual realm of evil, pain and suffering
