Vardøger (A.K.A. varsel): A ghostly double. Vardøger Is a spirit predecessor, from Scandinavian folklore. A spirit that will mock or copy the subject's footsteps, voice, scent, or appearance and overall demeanor precedes them in a location or activity, resulting in witnesses believing they've seen or heard the actual person before the person physically arrives

Vampire: Reanimated corpse that is said to come alive at dusk and suck the blood of sleeping persons to sustain life.

Vengeful Ghost: The ghost or a spirit of a deceased person who returns from the afterlife and seeks revenge for a cruel, unnatural or unjust death.
